About D52 Gaming
I started D52 Gaming, LLC after creating 52 Dragons and deciding that I wanted to do more than self-publish a single card game. It was so much fun designing 52 Dragons that I knew I would want to continue making games. I chose the name based on the idea of creating games using table top gaming elements (such as D20, D10, etc.) and fantasy card games, picking 52 since that is the number of cards in a set of playing cards, as well the number of cards in the Basic 52 Dragons set.
So if you'd like to know a little about me, my name is Jason Bougger. I'm a product of the 80s and 90s, played AD&D 2nd ed. in my teens and was big into Magic: The Gathering in the early days of the game, back when the idea of paying $15 dollars for a Mox Emerald was ludicrous. Wow, things sure have changed there haven't they?

I'm also a writer and blogger. I've had nearly thirty short stories published in various markets, and a supernatural YA novel, Holy Fudgesicles, published in 2015. I blog about the craft and business of writing at Write Good Books and also manage an ezine called Theme of Absence, which publishes original science fiction, fantasy, and horror short stories every Friday.
